What Does UMD Offer Me?

UMD offers you excellent project management skills to advance your career. Our diverse range of educational options is carefully crafted to meet the growing project management demands of government and private-sector employers.

You will learn practical project management skills that complement your abilities: skills that enable you to successfully complete projects on time and on budget.

Our programs fall within three broad categories to meet your particular situation:

1. Masters and Doctorate degree programs for serious engineering
professionals

2. Professional Certificate Programs – with four levels of training and
education that match your project management ability. Courses are
available for working project managers who seek to supplement
their career skills by learning about practical project management,
as well for those who are already experience in project management
but wish to augment their expertise. Courses are also available
for those looking to secure PMP certification.

3. Undergraduate project management courses to complement
engineering skills

Our educational portfolio provides you with training opportunities on-campus, via our remote educational facilities or - beginning in January 2006 - globally via the internet.
