What is the admission requirement for the PM program?

A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 in Engineering, GRE examination, TOEFL (if international), three letters of recommendation, official transcript, personal and research statement.



Can someone without an Engineering degree apply?

Yes, but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  Undergraduate prerequisites must be taken prior to taking graduate level courses.



Is the GRE examination mandatory?

Yes, GRE is mandatory for all applicants.



What is the length of the program?

The MS degree (non-thesis option) can be done in one full academic year.  In most cases, students in the program generally complete a degree in two years. 



Is there a part-time program?

Yes, the program is suited for those who are working full-time. 



When are courses typically offered?

Most graduate level courses meet once a week for 2.5 hours.  Courses typically start after 3:30 pm to accommodate working students.



Are assistantships available? 

Limited assistantships are available to students pursuing a Doctorate degree



How many faculty members are in the PM program?

We currently have four full time faculty and eight adjuncts.



What are the requirements for graduation?

Students in the program are required to take five core courses and five electives for a total of ten courses or 30 credits needed for graduation, visit the website to view the course list.  Scholarly paper is required for the Non-thesis option. Thesis option students must write a thesis and have a thesis defense during the last semester.
