Undergraduate Program in Project Management

Young engineers, architects, and business students entering the work force have a distinct competitive advantage if, in addition to having technical skills, they have a working knowledge of the fundamentals of managing projects. Employers increasingly seek candidates whose career preparation includes an understanding of project management fundamentals.

Students with a thorough knowledge of the legal aspects of project management, project cost accounting and economics, planning and scheduling, and decision analysis—in addition to the fundamentals--will be extremely well prepared to begin their careers at a more advanced level.

In addition to offering courses in the preceding subject areas, we offer a course on construction equipment and site logistics that is extremely relevant to students planning a career in construction.

The undergraduate program is designed to allow students to take individual courses as electives or as part of a minor in project management.
